November 19, 2010Brook Furniture Rental, in concert with The Lofts at Roosevelt Collection, The Habitat Company, AMLI 900 and AMLI
Residential Properties, earned 2 awards recently from the Chicagoland Apartment Association (CAA).
Sponsored by the CAA, the Chicagoland Apartment Marketing and Management Excellence (CAMME) Awards program is given to companies who are top performers in several categories, including: staff training programs, exterior condition of property, apartment condition, landscaping, maintenance programs, marketing programs, attainment of occupancy goals and standards, achievement of financial goals, cleanliness, resident satisfaction, and community outreach programs. The CAMME Awards program is held annually to celebrate multi-family housing companies and professionals that have demonstrated excellence in the previous year. The judging for the awards is done by industry and association members.
Brook Furniture Rental earned the top award with the Lofts at Roosevelt Collection and The Habitat Company for their collaboration on marketing a model for a one bedroom apartment, build entirely by on-site staff. Brook also partnered with AMLI 900 and AMLI Residential Properties to win the award for building and marketing a studio / efficiency / convertible model, also utilizing exclusively on-site employees.
"We were very excited to earn this award with some great partners in a competitive field" said Mike Jacoby, General Manager of the Midwest operations for Brook Furniture Rental. "We devote a lot of resources towards partnering with apartment communities across the Chicago area, to help them develop unique approaches to rent apartments. Our furniture rental service really helps property management companies and apartment communities in this challenging economy, and it was a great accomplishment to be recognized with not just one but two CAMME awards."
"Some of our clients were having trouble envisioning how furniture would lay out in some of our floor plans" said Rian Strater, the Leasing Director at The Lofts at Roosevelt Collection in Chicago. "So, rather than lower prices or increase concessions, we had to build the value! Thus, we created an innovative and successful moveable model strategy. We reached out to Brook Furniture Rental for the large items to put in the "hard to rent" floor plans and set up two 'models'. As soon as we started showing them, at once these difficult floor plans began to rent!"
