Brook Furniture Rental recently was recognized for its role in partnering with HomeAid Northern Virginia for assistance in renovating the ALIVE! House in Alexandria.
Built in 1962, the ALIVE! House provides safe temporary housing for women and families in Northern Virginia. The ALIVE! House seeks to create a nurturing atmosphere to support its temporary residents with support services to help them become self sufficient while they seek permanent housing.
Brook Furniture Rental partnered with the builder captain of the project, K. Hovnanian Homes, to assist in creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere for the temporary residents. Two members of the Brook Furniture Rental Washington DC team, Ken Klimpl, Vice President and General Manager, and Denise Navarrete, Manager, Business Development, accepted the award.
"We are very proud to have received this recognition" said Robert W. Crawford, CEO of Brook Furniture Rental. "We collaborated with two great organizations: K. Hovnanian Homes, and HomeAid Northern Virginia, to assist in building a stronger community with the renovation of the ALIVE! House in Alexandria. We were thrilled to have been a part of this important initiative!"
