Sacramento, CA Real Estate Professionals Partners

Sacramento is home to great neighborhoods for families and young people alike. It has a vibrant food culture, terrific weather, and a central location that befits California’s capital city.

Sierra Oaks Vista is Sacramento’s toniest neighborhood, with quiet streets, huge houses, and some of the city’s best public schools. Those who prefer a more happening, urban setting will love the Midtown neighborhood. Carmichael is an unpretentious, secluded area with an ace up its sleeve: the 457-acre Ancil Hoffman Park. The park is replete with public 18-hole golf course, river access, and the Effie Yeaw Nature Center. Nature lovers looking for a laid-back neighborhood should also check out Arden-Arcade, whose posh houses and 26-mile American River Parkway makes it a prime locale.

Old Sacramento takes the concept of a historic neighborhood to another level with its Old West architecture, wooden sidewalks, and riverboat rides. The State Historic Park hosts events throughout the year, including the Sacramento Jazz Jubilee.

The city’s colleges includes the Art Institute of California - Sacramento, Sacramento State, and nearby UC Davis, which is ranked as one of the top public universities in the country. They all enrich California’s capital with events, lectures, athletics, and youthful energy. The Causeway Classic, an annual UC Davis vs. Sacramento State football game, is always a rowdy local draw.

Sacramento may not be a coastal city, but located at the meeting place of the Sacramento and American Rivers, it takes full advantage of its access to the water. Power boating, rafting, and kayaking are all popular Sacramento day trips.

There is a quality dining scene thanks to an eclectic mix of Vietnamese, Cambodian, Ethiopian, Chinese, and even good old fashion diner cuisine. The city’s many gourmet food trucks are indicative of Sac Town’s surging foodie culture, such as Drewski’s Hot Rod Kitchen, the Mini Burger Truck, and Chando’s Tacos.
