Milpitas, Fremont, and Union City are all cities in the San Francisco Bay Area. All three cities are easily accessible to both San Francisco and San Jose.
Milpitas is home to many high tech company offices, including Cisco Systems and Sandisk. Milpitas’ Great Mall is the largest enclosed shopping center in Northern California, with over a million square feet of retail. If you are more inspired by nature than commercial excess, Milpitas has seventeen neighborhood parks, and is a short car ride from the Ed R. Levin Country Park and Monument Peak.
Fremont is a diverse, multicultural city made up of districts with distinct personalities. Niles has a small-town feel. Mission San Jose is picturesquely situated amongst some very steep hills, including Mission Peak and Mount Allison. Warm Springs is home to high-tech companies including Lexar and Nielsen Norman Group, and is Fremont’s commercial center.
Union City is made up of quiet neighborhoods, but you don’t need to skip town to find something to do. Entertainment facilities like the Union City Sports Center and Union Landing make this much more than just a bedroom community. For nature-lovers, Union City is minutes away by car from Coyote Hills, Lake Chabot, and Don Edwards Wildlife Refuge.
